Fabric Bodied Austin Seven Saloon Model (1927)
The Austin Seven full fabric bodied Saloon was first produced in 1927.
A small number of 'R' type Saloons were manufactured in late 1927 featuring fully fabric covered bodies. These were replaced by the aluminium and fabric bodied 'RK' models in September 1928. A number of other models using aluminium and fabric or steel and fabric were also introduced over time. Metal and fabric body styles remained popular until the early 1930's.
