Austin Seven Saloon Model (1926)
The Austin Seven Type 'R' Saloon first produced from 1926.
More then a dozen Austin Saloon models were produced at the Longbrigde factory from May 1926 to January 1938. The first model introduced was an 'R' type featuring 6 inches brake drums. An 'RB' and 'RK' type Saloons soon followed with aluminium and fabric bodies (and larger 7 inches brakes). The 'RG' and 'RL' Saloons with steel and fabric bodies were manufactured from 1930.
