On starting up my 36 Ruby ( the barn car mentioned in April) I discovered that tiny bubbles of water were coming from the head gasket at the front of engine and from around the manifold gasket. I removed the head and found that one of the two studs holding the water outlet was stripped. I repaired the stud, replaced the head and and at first glance thought that I had fixed the problem but now find there is a substantial amount of water in the sump. Question: how does water from the radiator get into the sump?
