Bruce, I always set the advance at 8 deg @ 3000rpm. In my collection in my office, I have details of the curve, I use a Totoya Corolla dissy in the Chummy, it is an early model, automatic only. I can put together details on numbers etc, should you want them.
It does not look as ugly as a VW, as it is about the same size as the DK4. I use a DK4 in Christines Sports.
For anyone else interested, I have found Bosch dissy parts that fit the DK4, condensor & points.
Bruce, as a matter of interest, I have made an offer on a 1927 Morgan Aero 3 wheeler. Side valve water cooled V Twin Jap 1100 motor. Looks like it may come off, not sure, hope so! Fun on 3 wheels!
