We are still working on our Austin seven. Clutch is o.k. but engine won't run properly. Engine runs when ignition is fully retarded, but when we start changing timing engine stalls. We still think the camshaft is not timed correct. but the engine rebuilder says it is timed o.k. Further we checked the intake for air leaks, but nothing helps.
The car is a 1936 van with windows at both side panels. model styling is approx. 1932. the car was sold new in France. Is there anybody who knows something about this car model?
