Marvellous! There is someone else out there finding more uses for the old molasses treatment. It's surprising how often you get sheer disbelief at using molasses and how often people can't believe it is so simple, there has to be a trick to it somewhere. I have used the molasses system to derust all sorts of ancient parts but never thought of using it to clean out waterways in the block. Thanks for the tip. BOB
