Yes, I agree. The problem in this area is often poor fitting components. I still wonder if a soften, more ductile material is actually safer to use; I have taken apart many engines where no actual breakage has occurred, but parts have moved considerably and the old, relatively soft bolt has endured with considerable movement. This is not aircraft technology we're talking about, it's Austin Seven and maybe we can go over the top here!
