The dot in the middle of the two "o's means the camshaft is timed perfectly. It could be wrong, but this is unlikely. The +1 indicates the machining error at the factory between the two bores of the timing gears i.e. 1/1000". It would have been matched with +1 gears. It has nothing whatsoever to do with cam timing and the gears may not have +1 marked on them. 30 and 15 teeth are correct and give the gearing to enable the camshaft to run at 1/2 engine speed. The 144019 number is the engine or block number, it may easily be different than the actual engine number you are used to and it has nothing to do with valve timing. I am reasonably convinced the problem lies elsewhere, in the carburation or fuel supply. In fact the symptoms you describe are identical to those with water in the petrol - that is starting but not running properly. I would strongly advise taking off the float chamber, filling with new fuel and seeing if the car runs then. If it does then it is a fuel problem. If not and the ignition timing is correct, then I think you need outside help - do try and enlist a second opinion from someone local. Good Luck!
