I have an over bored pump on a home made pressure fed crank in my Ruby based special. The gauge is indicating 5o PSI at start and 35 running. No problems with No 4 yet. It is worth fitting a bell shaped inlet extension if you have a deep sump, the coefficient of entry goes up from about 0.62 to 0.92. The suggestion for a doubled body pump sounds interesting, I assume the pumps would be stacked one on the other ie. in series, in which case you would get the same volume but at about twice the pressure
