Some complex answers to the age old question here. I have found a Daihatsu Charade oil pump fits inside a standard sump, when the upper case is removed. It is then necessary to reverse the rotation, thus using the pressure relief valve tube as the intake. Sounds tricky, but must be easier than some of the alternatives, with the only major work required being a new drive shaft, which most other options also require... Hope this helps
