I am planning to restore either one or both of two Austin 7s that have been sitting in my father's back paddock for about twenty years. I don't have much knowledge at this stage about how possible it would be to restore one (chummy) to original condition and the other, a two seater, to a more modern condition - perhaps keeping only the body and chassis and completely redoing the running gear.
These are only ideas at the moment, but it is so sad to see these two beautiful cars wasting away - what can I do?
I am interested in joining a club - I believe there is one in Victoria (I am in Sydney). Any advice would be appreciated as I get started on the long journey ahead with my two sevens.
