The car seems in bodily reasonably good condition - they are asking £4250 for it. They were going to lend it to me for the 750 rally in July but something fairly terminal happened in the crank area when it was being readied for MOT. I suppose the advantage now is that it will come with a re-built engine - probably at a similar price but of course not with a Phoenix crank. When I said that the car was narrow, there is only one aero screen on it and the gap betwwen the engine and the (fixed) 'bonnet' sides is tiny - will this be a problem?
