Behind the wings badge on the cowl of a Ruby (to the left of centre looking from the front) there is a small circular hole which appears to have been placed there by the factory. I have seen the identical hole on several cowls. It does not seem to have an immediately obvious purpose but probably has. Can anyone solve the mystery?
