Page 277 in the excellent "Austin Seven Source Book" of Bryan Purves gives body colours for the RL Saloon - 1930 as Royal Blue, Opal Blue, Maroon and Brown with a Black body rail. He states the dashboard, engine bay, inner body, wings, running boards and headlamps were all Black as well. On the other hand, page 127 of the equally excellent "Original Austin Seven" by Rinsey Mills states 1930 saloons were available in Opal Blue, Primrose, Blue, Beige and Maroon, Auto Brown, Maroon, Black, Battleship Grey. He also states some of the many non-standard colours that left the factory during this period. In Australia the colour schemes are very confused, maybe Barry or someone in the UK can add more to this……
