I have a '34 Nippy with a pressure fed crank, twin amals and modified cam. I subscribe to the policy of 'if you've got it...use it !' Whilst South African winters are rather idilic for touring and rallying, the summers can be rather hot. At around and above 30°c ambient on hilly roads the temp. of the water entering the radiator runs to around 100°c. The cooling system is standard and in good repair. Question: Has anyone out there (probably 'down under') ever installed a pump into the vertical return hose ? If so what pump and power source were used and what effect did it have on the temp. and performance.
