factory "chummy" bodies were always aluminium with ash frames however early cars sometimes had steel door skins,very late chummys had a steel body.Chummy means open tourer,Is yours a saloon?,as "Fabric" saloons were made by austins from 1926/31 i have one made in 1929 cha.86470
