To: Krisman Bahar & Tom Booth,

The answer to your radiator problems are as follows: All radiator caps are available from "The Seven Workshop", Elms Cross Yard, Frome Road, Bradford on Avon, Wilts, BA15 2EA, UK. FAX: +44 1225 868828.

Tom, you should have a Bakerlite radiator cap with a brass threaded insert to screw onto the top of your radiator.

Krisman, you must check on what style of radiator your brother has. If the car is a 1934/36 Cabriolet, does it have a painted radiator cowl as these have a brass radiator cap under the bonnet hidden from view. If the car is a year or two earlier it will have a chrome twist on radiator cap sitting on the top of the chrome surround to the radiator. If the picture you have seen is on the front of the Austin 7 Source Book, by Bryan Purves, then this cap too is available from The Seven Workshop.

Hope this helps.

Howard.
