I just bought this kind of strange looking Austin 7 and started search the web. I looked under "History" at this site and think it is a 1928 Austin Seven Sports Model "E". I have a car museum in California with 50 plus cars and I can tell something that was made in a home shop and this was not. It has an aluminium body and matches the "sports model",if you go to "History" on this page, then go four paragraphs down and click on "The First Austin Sports Model" in that paragraph, and click on it, a 1923 version of the car I have pops up. Could someone tell me who wrote this article or whom I can send photos of the car to for a definate answer?
