The 14,000 figure is roughly the total number of cars produced by that time, it includes ALL Austin Seven models, not only sports.
It is my understanding that the 50 MPH Sports was produced first (until 1926) and about 300 made. The E Super Sports followed in 1927 and 1928 the number produced was very small and some sources say only 5 made. The EA Sports (and the Super Sports) took over in 1929. Both the Austin Seven Source Book by Bryan Purves (ISBN 0 85429 557 7 reprint 1997) and the Original Austin Seven by Rinsey Mills (ISBN 1 870979 68 0) cover this history well. Both these books are available I have not heard that the Source Book is out of print I have seen it recently forsale in Australia.
