I have been having great difficulty starting my Seven and having exhausted the obvious I engaged a mechanic. He suggested (amongst other things) that I replace the piston rings since although the compression was reasonable (60-90 psi)the engine was unable to "suck" enough fuel into the cylinders. This puzzled me and I would be grateful of any second opinions on the reasonableness of this statement before I undertake such a drastic measure. Thanks!
