I wish to know if anyone has sourced the tube which carries the controls disc on the steering wheel of a 29. This is different to a deep dish wheel model.
The tube connects to bottom of the steering box, comes all the way up through the column, sticks out above the steering wheel nut to accomodate the control disc.
The tube is a really odd size, I/D 12.7 mm O/D 14.5mm. I have since turned down a length of stainless tube, but I would like to know if there is a size tube available to save this drama!
