I run a 36' special fitted with a 32' engine and I am using a 6V SU electric fuel pump. Even after rebuilding the pump, there always seems to be problems with fuel delivery. Sometimes the engine just stalls - both at idling and running conditions, apparently due to no fuel coming through? Would it be a better bet to fit an AC pump? By the way, my tank is at the back,I need a pump! Please advise possible source for A7 AC pump or alternative modern replacement.
