Apart from the obvious dating details, which I can't help with, I am sure, should I be building the Reliant, I would set the tappets very close to A7 specs.

I have a great young engine man here, young enough not to "know" it all, but still exicited by "odd" projects such as we come up with. he is the man I took the Reliant to, to get an opinion re the crank etc. The tappets are only a variation on anything of the era, the same as I found with the Milano body and the Big 7 engine. No actual experts, but you can blunder through.

The rest of the motor will be very obvious as you work through it, ring gaps, head bolt tensions, timing etc etc.

As far as a new sight, what about a A7 buy and sell sight instead? Hah Hah
