I too am new to the Australian 7 scene, but one point that is always made very clear here in Victoria is the proud fact that the Austin Seven Club of Australia was set up here 50 years ago. It is only in more recent times that the club has referred to the Victoria locale for what ever reasons, and many, generally more senior members, (probably those from the early days) still insist that this is the AUSTRALIAN 7 Club. Confusing though it is, we are all delving into the history of Austins to better understand our cars, so why not also Understand the people who so love them.
