As for my comments:

I use "Tectaloy" 411 here in OZ, it is made for vintage engines with extra additives to give extra protection for alloy heads etc. It's only been used for 4 1/2 years in my car but seems excellent. It is not easy to get here - I get it from the factory here now. The chemist there is very helpful as well. I don't think it is much use in a cool climate? The least of my worries, it's forecast for 42C degrees again today.

Maybe there is something similar in the UK or were you live?
