Greg For those of us in the UK (and most of northern Europe) the terms coolant and anti-freeze tend to be interchangeable. Anti-freeze in this country is sold as "Anti-freeze and summer coolant" so you'll understand the potential confusion. Bear in mind that your cold days in Brisbane are a warm summers day here! The racing types in more modern motorsport have an additive compound called "Water Wetter" that increases the surface tension of the water and aids cooling. The makers claim a marked benefit but it is quite pricey. Do you have any experience either professionally or from a hobby point of view?
