Thanks Barry but I dont have facility to post pictures I got the block only recently and have just cleaned off the paint ( red of course )and found a stamp ( not a casting ) on the front , a flattened O and on the back 6918. The block also has tulip valves and enlarged inlets 1/8'' The head studs are also larger but tapered in the middle. Hope this helps. Thought with extra cooling along inl/exh. may be off s/c engine ,regards Mike.
