I am building a big seven special sports for historic racing. Rather than simply upgrade the current capacity of the dynamo, I would prefer to convert my existing dynamo to a 12 volt output. Can this be done and if so, what is involved? Can I still use my 6 volt starter or does this too have to be modified?
