I want to retard the Jack French cam in my Ulster rep to improve the cylinder filling at higher revs. Has anyone done this using a stepped key? Is it best to retard the cam gear or the crank gear? How many degrees should it be retarded? Anyone got the rough dimensions of a stepped key to achieve this? All help much appreciated.
