Then it will boil, need an electric fan and anti-Funnel Web spray!
I would advise a top quality engine condition - ie 80-100 psi compressions, good earths, good battery, fresh fuel etc.
The Bosch coil should be perfectly ok with a standard set-up - there are no electronics, just electrics, unless you have electronic ignition. Conversion to 12v retaining the existing 6v starter is a good idea. My Ulster, which has no dynamo, has the original 6v starter, 12v 21w single-filament bulbs for the headlights, which are adequate for 60 mph at night on permanent dip and a 12v coil. However, I have to charge the battery externally, because there is no dynamo, which is not what you need, but the principle of easy starting remains.
You may still need Easy Start, or what ever. My cars won't start at all without it now if left too long, as the modern fuel out-gasses quickly and seems to loose the useful volatiles over a few short weeks. Everday use is ok - the Ulster's 6v motor spins like crazy with 12v!
Good Luck,
Barry.
