Dennis, it appears you have a later spring - possibly from a Ruby model. Even the late-29/30/31 cars had 8 leaves, all thinner (7/32 or 3/16") than a '24 should have. Probably easier to tell you what you should have for a '24 = Main : 15 x 15". No.2 : 14 3/4 x 14 3/4". No.3 : 11 5/8 x 11 5/8". No.4 : 8 3/8 x 8 3/8". No.5 : 5 1/4 x 5 1/4". All 1 1/2" x 1/4", nibbed and slotted. Central hole should be 5/16". (There was a special spring with 11 really thin leaves but details would only confuse!). Your rears should have 6 leaves, can send measurements direct if you require. Cheers, Bill
