There has been a fair bit of discussion on this subject in the past, but searching the archives failed to answer this question:
How is the wooden peak attached to the forward facing hood irons? I have seen reference of tightly radiused end tubes flattened, and also of a continuous loop across the front. Is the peak attached above or below the irons, or is there a rebate to accommodate. I am looking for extreme detail here, so close up pictures would be great. :-)
Thanks, DG
