HELP. after building several specials over the last ten years I have confused myself as to the best combinations for hillclimb cars. I have read most of the race articles and all the books but am still confused as is what is the best combinations. Maybe there is no definitive answer the secret of our continuing desire????However the new car has a 3 b crankcase machined out to the 2 bearing format ,confusion over a french cam or local Hec Green or ??? best enlarged valves ?? but more importantly the distributor as my currently car misses at plus 6000rpm. PLUS for a straight Hillclimb car should I use a 3/4 gearbox as hillclimbs seem to be all that us kiwis have to race in. So its a really big question that if you have an answer for, rest assured its only to beat MGs Rileys etc. Phone me collect if you can't email on 0064 9 8130547. many thanks Mike
