My Cup Special project will have a 4 gallon scuttle mounted petrol tank, and a pair of small SU carbs. I had thought that I would need to fit an SU fuel pump in between, but having looked more closely, I am not so sure if this will be necessary. The vertical distance between the lowest point of the (sloping) bottom of the tank and the top of the float chambers is 3". Any advice welcomed!
