I forgot to say (not much!) - The distributor must be earthed properly, especially if you use column levers and a movable dizzy. The 'blown Ulster, mag engine of course, uses an Aussie mag-dist conversion box and a "Scorcher" dist which has completely fixed timing, not even any auto-advance.
