Another question for the experts, this time electrical. I'm converting to 12v using a solid state regulator (hardly period but it's well hidden..). I've changed the obvious items (coil, bulbs) but am a bit worried about the fuel gauge. Seems to me it will read OK but be subjected to twice the usual current. Does anyone know if it and the sender will survive or is a series resistor needed?
All advice and experiences much appreciated.
