If your daughter keeps the car, one day (possibly tomorrow!) you will inevitably take the engine out. If the body precludes this and presuming (with respect) that it is not of historic significance, is it silly of me to suggest that you contemplate ways of making body panels and bits of body frame removable? It's difficult to say if that's practicable without seeing the car, of course, just a thought. Regards, Stuart.
