I have obtained a phoenix crank & rods and want to build a reliable engine in a "spit & hope" crankcase. I have a high pressure pump and am using a by pass filter with a built in (and accessible) by pass valve. My questions are: a) Can the jets be removed & blocked off with suitable plugs. b) What size of hole should the camshaft bearings have for ~50psi oil. c) Does anyone have any experience using Honda GX110 pistons (I have machined the block to match the difference in hight of the piston) d) Who knows of a suitable "touring" cam e) Who has details of a suitable front rotary seal.
