Barry, I have bought the 1 1/8 carbs from many places, from swap meets to backyard dealers. Even Morris wreckers in NZ. I have seen them as twins on Morris manifolds, I thought they were on side valve Morris also as standard. The late heads are also difficult to find, but are around I always have at least one spare. I know of a guy trying to sell two recently at a swap. He wanted $160 each, about 50 in your money.
Do you not have cars running the 1 1/8 carbs in the UK? How hard are the late manifolds to find?
