On the subject of running in new engines Now this idea wont be much use to Sean who most probably has full flow oil filtration but I put a magnet in in the sump Originally rather a large item with a purpose made bracket but more recently a visit to the local Automatic Transmission service/repair Agents & they gave me a pair of the purpose made magnets that normally live in the sump of an autotransmission g/box one of these now lives in the sump of Nippy & takes all those pesty little iron bits out of circulation Bob
