Hi Tony, On the Lucas CF1 cutout which you should have on your car the original fuses were thin aluminium strips shaped at the ends to fit under the nuts, I have never seen an original one to measure the thickness, I do however have a tracing of the shape. When the car was new a number of these were fixed under one terminal and bent away from the other terminal, when one blew all you did was to bend down a new one and connect up. I have used 5 amp fuse wire on my 28 for many years, (it has never blown) I suppose that with the dynamo giving out 6 amps it should be 10 amps. Does anyone have an original fuse, or a bit of one that we could measure? I am surprised that someone hasn't made some before now. Regards Ian
