Ralph I have just been guided through the reverse polarity business by a wise old, 80+ years auto electrician.( He has had his A7 from new) His method was as follows; 1.Disconnect wire from terminal "D" at regulator. 2.Swap battery leads 3. Bridge from terminal "A" to terminal "F" at reg. for 2 seconds. I used long nose pliers. 4. Reconnect wire to terminal "D"

Note. On my car, looking down on the generator from the dist. end "D" is at the left :F" is on the right. I'm not sure about your SU pump. I have seen both 6 and 12V models. Morris minor stuff is 12 V regards and good luck Ron
