Bruce , I agree with Barry. You are building a 'Hot' engine using an early Reliant unit so a 3 ring 'modern' piston would be appropriate. This is why I am using Honda GX110 pistons. A few mods are required including shortening the block and accommodating a .512 inch pin. The advantage is a forged piston with modern oval when cold and round when hot configuration.
