I've always preferred to drive them rather than be a mechanic, but yes, have had it happen a couple of times. Clearing jets did the trick after that button had threatened to hit me on the nose. I'd already sent our Kiwi friend an email direct to suggest that even a cleaned engine can have some dislodged gunk - to try that first, then look at the other things such as since suggested by our learned friends in UK. Collectively you should solve his problem without having to visit his garage. The great thing about this site is not only will he be assisted, but others too who care to read it and who can refer back to it. Cheers, Bill
