As an ex-aircraft painter, I can recommend 2 pak paints - BUT only if you are trained in the SAFE use thereof, and have access to a filtered spray booth. I always used PA10 as a primer, trying various topcoats applied within the hour. Hot spraying is ideal, but only use boiled water to heat the spray gun pot. Assuming you do not have these facilities, as with most people, I would recommend POR 15. Ensure you have every thing as you want it before application, as this stuff doesn't come off again without sand/media blasting! Primers MUST be overcoated quickly, as they set like concrete and can't be scuffed for top coat adhesion. The one coat systems don't have good UV protection and discolour in light. But cheap packs of brushes, or freeze between use (Don't forget the plastic bag to wrap the brush!) There is also a Knights rust proof system in Bunnings, but have not had much opportunity to test here yet.
