Originality question - There appears to be no facility on my Box Saloon to 'park' the choke pull anywhere other than either holding it out, difficult with gear changing etc, or letting it go right back. The adopted method to get a partial closure once the engine is going seems to be - use a clothes peg.
Did Austins in the 30's really have to use such a crude method, or am I missing something. I know I am not the only one using pegs. I thought my old Box in the 60's had a nib in the dashboard ferral to engage in a slot in the rod attached to the choke pull button, but I can see no evidence of that on my present Box.
