Bruce, you have me feeling slightly guilty. In your reply to me you have the terms 100% correct... It appears to be the the keyboard that let you down, not the fingers as it is often in my case!
Yes it is rows, not rolls, and fins per inch (FPI) and not fans.
I have some interesting debates and often have proved my theory that less FPI can often be better than lots. Now don't all race out and take me up on this theory, it depends on on a lot of different applications, and situations.
I deal a lot with Vintage and Veteran cars as well as a lot of the same era "race cars". For example a Model T based special can only allow a very narrow (width) radiator. In this case a lot of thought has to go into the make up of the core, even down to the designing the top and bottom tanks to achieve a little more efficiency.
Bruce, I can't remember the final details of the axle/half shaft debate, I don't think I won. I certainly did not go out to win, I reckon it was the difference in where one is bought up.
Another point Bruce, did you receive Christines' Tassie trip details, and will we see you at AOA or somewhere on this trip. We still are loking for an oversees driver for the Chummy at AOA, any takers? Christine has just reminded me to tell you and any readers that we invite any cars from any club to join us in Tassie, not just Austins.
Cheers Greg
