In that case it will be uncoupled. I understand the cross shaft bit for the rear, but the actual handbrake pivot end is a bit of a mystery. I haven't found a detailed pix in any of the A7 books that I have.
Was it original that the handbrake alloy hand grip was held on to the lever by peining over the lever through the hole in the top? Kinda makes it tricky to remove!
