When "boxing" the chassis with 1.5" RHS (I have a number of poorly patched cracks) what happens around the foot brake pivot through the steering box and outer side of the chassis rail?
Is a large access hole cut in the RHS, or is a crush tube installed and a longer pivot bolt used to go right through both sides?
I assume that longer bolts are used for engine mountings etc to go right through the Chassis and RHS box section, or are access holes drilled and shorter bolts used through the top sections only?
Thanks, DG
