I couldn't get my head around quite where the snag is and had to wait until daylight and look at the car! I have been known to go out at midnight and take pictures, but such is the slipperiness of the garden, I may have ended up with the fish...... Bruce, 37 deg can be ok!!!

Hugh, as I see it, the lowered front spring on the sports necessitates lowered radius arms and lowered steering arms because the steering tube hits the sump in a big way if standard arms were to be used. You cannot use them with a lowered axle and spring, although some variations may be possible.

Certainly, Reg Nice's race Ulster is ok at 85, or so he tells me, on a billiard ball racetrack. I have a picture of this car, albeit a distant one, showing the lowered rear ball.

Barry.
